Crisp Design: Image Retouching

Image retouching or manipulation is one of those techniques which doesn't get used all the time but when it's needed, it really saves the day!!

For example, you may need to change the colour of a person's hair, paint out an annoying object that you don't want in the shot or super-impose your company logo on some vehicle livery and make it look realistic. Image retouching saves time and money and rescues you from having to go back to the drawing board to get the right result.

To retouch the colour of schoolwear as it clashed with the Red from the French Flag in the background of the image.

To remove the people hanging around in the background, bring down toddler's t-shirt and generally brightened up the image to bring more life to it.

Scratches removed from an old photo and edges tidied up.

Kids were shot in this original pose which was used on many items, however it was needed for an exhibition panel which was tall and narrow so the kids were moved to bring closer together.
